Edgy Events is a boutique-style event company. Our goal is to work closely with you to create an event to fit your needs. Whether you want your event to be big or small, black-tie or simple, elaborate or on a budget, we are able to make your event a big success.
Edgy Events works with a select group of full time contractors who have established themselves as regular partners to ensure the quality of your event. Such companies include: CDron, a company that specializes in invitation and web site design and City Epicurean for all of your catering needs.
Cheryl Regan, Principal
Cheryl has over 20 years experience in the event and logistical management for domestic and international events. Cheryl is an active member of the International Special Events Society. She is responsible for developing, organizing, and directing all phases of national meetings and events, including the management and administration of operations budgets, development of sales and marketing agreements, and contract negotiations . Cheryl has extensive catering experience having work for several years at a major hotel chain in Chicago as well as employed at Harpo Studios in Chicago assisting in planning events.
Joretta Rahim, CMM, Events Consultant
Joretta has more than twenty years experience in event management. She has been certified in Global Meeting Management by Michigan State University Broad Graduate School of Management and Meeting Professionals International. She is a active member of several professional organizations including Professional Convention Management Association; Healthcare Exhibitors Association and International Association of Exhibitions and Events. Before joining Edgy Events, Joretta was Director of Conference Services for the Alzheimer’s Association
